Our Ministries

Our Ministry philosophy

We believe that God gave Christians His gospel and each other, to grow us to maturity and faith in Christ. For this reason, we’re all about intentionally building relationships in our community that are shaped by the gospel. For a start, we encourage all members to be an active part of a Growth Group that meets together weekly for encouragement and Bible study. These groups may be mens, women’s or mixed groups, but there are also other more specialised groups that meet.

Specialised ministries

Children’s Church

Sundays 9.30am

Children’s Church meets at our morning service during school term.

The children begin their teaching time at the same time as the service starts – please come 10 minutes before to settle them in.

At Children’s Church they enjoy a fantastic time of kids songs, games and bible teaching together. They then split into smaller age groups for a time of discussion, application of the lesson and craft. All children from Prep to Grade 6 are welcome.

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children. As such we follow the PresSafe system. All of our volunteers who work with children hold a current Blue Card and have undertaken child safety training.

Ridge Youth

Friday nights

Our youth group (for grades 7-12) meets on Friday nights from 6.30pm until 8.30pm during school term.

The purpose of our youth group is to provide a safe place for youth to build friendships, have fun and learn about God’s love for them in Christ.

Our time together focuses on the Bible.

There is discussion on a variety of relevant issues and questions. We also regularly get together for social events including a yearly youth camp.

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children. As such we follow the PresSafe system. All of our volunteers who work with children hold a current Blue Card and have undertaken child safety training.

Young Adults

Wednesday nights

Our young adults (school leavers to 30 years of age) meet weekly during term time to study the bible and pray together. The main focus of our Young Adults ministry is to seek to grow disciples that love God and love others.

ARPC Women & Men’s Ministries

At ARPC we want to encourage men and women in a way that helps equip them as disciples of Jesus Christ, for their own spiritual maturity, the good of their marriages and families and for the benefit of all.

There are opportunities for women and men to attend bible teaching and social events, retreats and day conferences.
