Heart 2 Heart Craft – At the Ridge.
This is a brand new Craft Group for ladies, meeting every 2nd and 4th Thursday night of each month at 7:30pm in the Auditorium/Cry Room. Our name, Heart to Heart Craft, has been chosen to reflect what we hope will develop in this group – women sharing their creativity, but more so, their hearts and lives.
We will be featuring many different crafts during the year- from jewellery making, Scrapbooking techniques, Easter Egg decorating, machine-sewing, embroidery, quilting, acrylic and watercolour painting, to name a few.
There will also be opportunity for women to come and finish projects they have at home or to just come and enjoy the Supper and Chat even if they don’t feel like Crafting, but need a little Time-Out.
During the year, we also hope to occasionally run Saturday Craft Workshops which would be an opportunity for women to be a part of the fun who are unable to attend on a Thursday evening.
The women who have already become a part of this evening seem to have had a very enjoyable time- fun, laughter, fellowship, cuppa, cake, Oh- and a little craft, of course! What more could we need — maybe Chocolate!
